If you're moving between states, the risk of breakage or damange from temperature fluctuations is just too great for valuable wine. Hiring an experienced, refrigerated, licensed and insured company is vital. If you're reading this, you're in the right place. So what are the next steps?
The first step is to complete our quote request form, which will give us all the information we need to give you an accurate price. Then we will send you a proposal which will contain lots of important details for you to review. If the proposal looks good to you, you would then sign our shipping agreement. As soon as you sign our agreement, and your 25% security deposit is paid, we will work to schedule your pickup appointment on a date that works for you.
On the date of your pickup, we will arrive in a refrigerated vehicle, and pack your wine in boxes suitable for transport. If you have already pre-packed your wine, that's great too! We will count the total number of carrier-packed boxes and/or pre-packed boxes, and then give you a receipt to sign. Your wine will be insured for any loss or damage while we are in possession.
If the wine is being transported directly to the delivery address, we will start the process of transporting your collection to the final destination. In most cases, we will take your boxes to our facility and palletize the boxes for interstate transport. Typically, interstate transport take 3-6 weeks, but if clients need additional storage, we are happy to accommodate. Once the wine is ready to be delivered to the final destination, we will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment. At any point along the way, you can reach out to us for an update, to check in, or to request additional storage time. We highly recommend filling out our quote request form. It's quick and easy and totally free.
